Grain unloading at the ports of Great Odesa is decreasing for the third week in a row

Last week, the unloading rate of grain carriers in the deep-water ports of the Odesa region fell by 5.05%.

The average daily unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa continues to decline. This was reported by the representative of the UZ Valerii Tkachev, APK-Inform writes.

Thus, last week this indicator fell to 1,242 wagons per day. At the same time, despite the reduction in unloading volumes, the number of grain wagons moving towards the ports increased by 15.97% and is 8,215 units. At the same time, the average daily load of wagons on the network decreased by 2.43% – to 1,287 wagons per day.

Such dynamics indicate challenges in the logistics system of grain transportation, which may affect the overall indicators of agricultural exports.

The situation in the port of Izmail also shows a decline. The average daily rate of unloading grain wagons has decreased by 6.76% and is now 69 wagons per day. The total number of wagons heading to this port has decreased by 4.59% – to 810 units.

USM also recently wrote that the Ukrainian government predicts growth in exports for 2025 – despite challenges in the agricultural sector.
