Dmytro Moskalenko was dismissed from the position of CEO of the UDS
The contract with the general director of PrJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company” was terminated early.
This information was confirmed by USM in the UDS.
Thus, by order of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba, the general director of PrJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company” was dismissed from January 10.
The order states that the contract with Dmytro Moskalenko, who took up the position of general director of the enterprise on the eve of the full-scale invasion, was terminated early.
Dmytro Moskalenko also commented on his resignation on social networks. He noted that he had worked in the position for almost three years.
“During this time, we have repaired the fleet, returned assets, settled huge debts, protected real estate in Hungary and Austria, conducted de-offshorization, cleaned the company from corruption schemes, and started strategic cooperation with the World Bank Group. For the first time in years of independence, we launched a fleet modernization program and got the best result! Unfortunately, not everything planned worked out. Many promising investment projects had to be curtailed due to the market crisis and other factors,” Moskalenko noted.
He added that the team is transferring UDS to new hands with protected assets, in a stable financial condition, with a working fleet, with large annual transportation contracts, as well as with a working fleet modernization program.
