Court lifts arrest of Russian tanker Nika Spirit, which was blocking the Kerch Strait

The basis for lifting the arrest was the completion of the procedure for selling the vessel at an open auction through the Prozorro.Sales system.
ARMA reported lifting the arrest from the vessel Nika Spirit, which had previously been transferred to the agency’s management within the framework of criminal proceedings.
According to the results of competitive bidding, the asset, previously estimated at UAH 2.4 million, was sold for UAH 6.4 million. The new owner of the asset was a Ukrainian company that purchased the vessel within the framework of a legal and public sale procedure.
Thus, the court recognized that the asset had lost its connection with the subject of criminal proceedings and acquired a new legal status – commercial property acquired in good faith at an open auction.
Earlier, USM reported that ARMA was preparing the arrested vessel USKO MFU for sale.
