Ukrainian drones set fire to two tankers in the port of Primorsk

The Ukrainian drone attack has halted oil shipments at the port of Primorsk in northwestern Russia for the first time.
This was reported by Reuters.
Primorsk is the largest export hub in western Russia with a capacity of about 1 million barrels of oil per day. In addition, about 300,000 barrels of diesel fuel are exported through it daily.
According to sources, two tankers were damaged in the attack – Kusto and Cai Yun. Both belong to the Aframax class, capable of transporting about 700,000 barrels. The Kusto is owned and operated by Solstice Corp, and the Cai Yun is owned and operated by Acceronix Ltd. Both tankers are registered in the Seychelles.
A pumping station also caught fire as a result of the attack, which temporarily halted oil loading. The governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, confirmed the fire, but said it was quickly extinguished and there was no threat of an oil spill.
USM previously reported that drones hit oil pumping stations in the Russian Federation that supply oil to the port of Ust-Luga.
