Baykar is ready to join Black Sea security projects

The company’s CEO agreed to contribute to the formation of the European security architecture.
Turkish defense company Baykar has announced its readiness to participate in Black Sea security projects. The company’s CEO Haluk Bayraktar told Ukrinform in an interview.
“We believe that the main purpose of high technology is to create a deterrent potential and increase situational awareness in order to prevent conflicts before they begin. In accordance with this philosophy, our technologies are ready to serve this purpose – ensuring stability in the Black Sea,” said Haluk Bayraktar.
The CEO emphasized that the company fully supports Turkey’s policy aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region, where the Black Sea plays an increasingly strategic role for European and Euro-Atlantic security.
Bayraktar emphasized that Baykar has the ambition to go beyond the role of an arms manufacturer and become a key technological partner in the European security system. The company is already participating in joint projects that involve the integration of technologies that can increase the defense capabilities and situational awareness of allies.
“Thanks to technological experience, we strive to go beyond the supply of products and become a strategic and indispensable technological partner in the security architecture of Europe,” the CEO noted.
