The Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) Steering Board has approved the financing of projects, including the restoration of Danube ports.
The decision was made during the fifth meeting of the board, the Ministry for Development of Communites and Territories of Ukraine reports.
“Our common challenge is to find additional opportunities for co-financing, mobilize resources and accelerate the implementation of projects. In the context of constant attacks on infrastructure, speed and flexibility are critically important,” Deputy Minister Maryna Denysiuk emphasized.
The total amount of resources within the UIF is 9.4 billion euros, of which 6.2 billion euros have already been distributed.
According to the results of the meeting, 11 new projects were approved, including three under the coordination of the Ministry of Development.
In particular, we are talking about the joint project of the World Bank and the EBRD “RELINC” — Restoration of Logistics Infrastructure, which involves the restoration of railways and roads, ports on the Danube, and the modernization of checkpoints.

As previously reported by USM, the USPA announced a tender for the purchase of an oil recovery vessel for ports on the Danube as part of the RELINC project.
