Kernel’s revenue in the first quarter of the new fiscal year reached $826 million

Kernel Agroholding received $826 million in revenue in the first quarter of the new fiscal year.
This was reported by Latifundist with reference to the company’s report.
The agroholding’s consolidated revenue in the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year increased by 4% year-on-year, reaching $826 million.
The revenue growth was due to higher average prices for edible oils and an increase in their sales volumes. This compensated for a temporary slowdown in grain exports due to a delay in the start of the harvesting campaign in Ukraine.
The net increase in the fair value of biological assets amounted to $59 million, compared to $42 million in the same period last year.
The cost of sales increased by 7% year-on-year to $725 million. This was mainly due to an increase in the cost of goods and raw materials.
Gross profit decreased by 3% year-on-year to $160 million, reflecting margin pressure in the oilseed processing and infrastructure and trade segments.
Group EBITDA for the quarter was $144 million. The segment breakdown is as follows:
• oilseed processing: EBITDA $27 million (down 26% year-on-year);
• infrastructure and trade: EBITDA $20 million; export terminals remain the main source of revenue ($9 million), with an additional $6 million coming from grain trading in Ukraine and another $5 million from Avere trading operations;
• farming segment: EBITDA $111 million (up 7%), mainly driven by $59 million in non-cash gains from the revaluation of biological assets.
USM previously reported that Kernel had withdrawn from the privatization of Odesa Port Plant after due diligence and risk assessment.
