Port in occupied Mariupol almost stopped working due to ice

In December, only one ship loaded with looted coal and metal was able to leave the commercial port of occupied Mariupol.
Now transportation has stopped due to ice, reports the Mariupol City Council with reference to the Center for the Study of the Occupation.
According to the Center, the occupiers are preparing to resume shipping in the spring. Coal is being delivered in advance by rail so that by spring, when ships can sail again, the port will have ready supplies for transshipment and shipment by sea.
This year, the occupiers plan to integrate the Mariupol port into the Rostov logistics system. Thus, the occupiers are trying to transfer all strategically important facilities under Russian control. Only technical functions will be left to the locals – control over finances and technical solutions.
Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine warned Turkey about a ship with stolen grain that left occupied Mariupol.
