Ukraine sent military to London to discuss unblocking the Strait of Hormuz

Kyiv will offer its partners its own experience in operating a maritime corridor in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian military personnel are participating in an international conference in London dedicated to the issue of unblocking the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, the event is a continuation of the previous meeting at the level of leaders, which was jointly organized by Great Britain and France. It was attended by representatives of about 37 countries, including Ukraine. The current stage of negotiations is already taking place at the military level.
“Britain and France asked to continue the relevant conference… we sent our military to this meeting in London,” Zelensky noted.
The President emphasized that Ukraine’s participation primarily consists of transferring practical experience.
“We are talking about expertise… we had serious challenges in the Black Sea and unblocked the relevant corridor there,” he explained.
In addition, Kyiv already has experience in cooperating with Middle Eastern countries in countering drone threats and developing defense technologies, in particular within the framework of the Drone Deal initiative.
