Grain is the basis of Ukrainian exports, – Minagro

The most significant components of Ukrainian export of agricultural products this year were cereals, oils, oilseeds and cakes.

“The turnover of agricultural products and food products for 11 months increased by 22% (compared to the same period in 2020) and reached about $31.3 billion, which amounted to 24.7% of the total foreign trade turnover of goods of Ukraine,” the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine with reference to the data of the State Customs Service.

The main countries to which Ukrainian agri-food products were supplied were:

China (15.4% in the structure of exports of agricultural products and food products);

India – 6.5%;

Netherlands – 6.4%;

Egypt – 5.9%;

Turkey – 4.8%.
