An electronic queue for ships was introduced in the seaports of Odesa

In the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi, an electronic queue was introduced for the processing of ships.

The introduction of an electronic queue for the processing of ships in the ports of Great Odessa will create more transparent and comfortable conditions for business, the USPA claims.

Previously, a similar technology was introduced in Ukrainian ports on the Danube. However, unlike the Romanian Sulina channel, where the electronic queue does not change, changes related to technical nuances are permissible in seaports. For example, it is about the vessel not being ready for inspection or something else.

USPA noted that in each of the cases, objective reasons for the “reshuffle” will be indicated in the electronic queue opposite the name of the vessel.

Starting today, the electronic queue will be published on the official website of the State Enterprise “USPA”.

Currently, there is a large traffic jam of vessels in the Sea of Marmara. The congestion arose as a result of the delay of vessels with Ukrainian grain. More than 100 ships are idle in the Sea of Marmara, and almost fifty more are awaiting inspection in the Black Sea.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is sure that the actions of russian federation led to traffic jams from ships near Istanbul. Delays in the inspections of grain initiative vessels are politically motivated, the ministry believes. Thus, the russian leadership has repeatedly tried without legal grounds to question the “grain corridor”, demanding new benefits for agreeing to extend the agreement.
