The water level on the Danube rose

Since December 7, there has been a rise in the water level in the Danube.

The rise of the water level in the Danube makes it possible to fill the Danube lakes naturally. Currently, all sluice gates are open and all lakes are being filled, Rodion Abashev, the head of Izmail Regional Administration, said.

At the same time, work continues to clean up the Public, Interkolkhoz and Orliv canals, which will improve their capacity.

As previously reported by USM, in the first and third decades of August, there were small rises in the water levels in the Danube, which slightly improved the situation. However, in September, the problem of shallow water remained relevant.
