Agency for Identification, Search and Asset Management received assets worth almost UAH 9 billion

Since the beginning of the year, the State Bureau of Investigation has transferred UAH 8.9 billion worth of assets to the National.
Currently, the value of assets seized for the benefit of the state reaches almost UAH 9 billion. After completion of investigations and assessment of the property, the value may increase significantly, the SBI noted.
The property of persons involved in criminal proceedings investigated by the State Bureau, including russian structures, already brings profits to the state. The income received from the management of the transferred property has already exceeded UAH 28.8 million.
Among the transferred assets are 180 vehicles, 47 units of agricultural machinery, 443 real estate objects, 11 sea vessels, etc.
In general, the value of assets transferred to the Agency this year is almost 8 times higher than the value of property transferred during the same period last year.
