Australia bans Russian energy products imports

The Australian government has decided to ban the import of oil, gas, coal and oil products from Russia because of its aggression against Ukraine.

According to The Guardian, the ban itself will come into force no earlier than 45 days later. During this time, vessels carrying already paid energy supplies from Russia will be able to arrive for shipment in Australian ports.
