Britain will propose to Trump to station troops in Ukrainian ports

Britain to show Donald Trump plan to deploy troops in cities and critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will offer US President Donald Trump a peacekeeping plan for deploying European troops in Ukraine, The Telegraph reports.
Starmer is set to present Trump with a peacekeeping plan that would see 30,000 European troops deployed to Ukraine to monitor a ceasefire.
Starmer is due to present a plan to Trump next week in Washington on how Europe can ensure compliance with any ceasefire agreement in Ukraine. The British and French strategy was already presented at an emergency meeting of European officials in Paris on February 17.
According to the plan, about 30,000 troops will be deployed in Ukrainian cities, as well as in ports and other critical infrastructure facilities (such as nuclear power plants) far from the current front line.
The mission will rely on technical monitoring, including intelligence, surveillance aircraft, UAVs and satellites.
Patrol ships will also be sent to the Black Sea to ensure the safety of commercial shipping routes.
USM previously reported that Trump wanted full control over Ukrainian ports. The draft agreement, which President Volodymyr Zelensky refused to sign, provided for the transfer of influence over mineral extraction, oil and gas assets and even Ukrainian ports to the American side.
