Civilian ship damaged in Mykolaiv region due to Russian attack


The attacks on the port infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region are taking place against the backdrop of systematic Russian strikes on Ukrainian ports and civilian vessels.

This was reported by the acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Georgy Reshetilov.

On the evening of August 12, Russian troops attacked the port infrastructure in the Mykolaiv district with strike drones. A civilian vessel was damaged as a result of the attack.

“Yesterday, the enemy attacked the region with Shahed strike UAVs. The port infrastructure of the Mykolaiv district was hit. A civilian vessel was damaged. There were no casualties,” he noted.

According to him, Russian troops also attacked the Snigurivska community in the Bashtan district five times with Molniya drones. A private house and an outbuilding were damaged in the village of Tamaryne. No people were injured.

The last time the Russians attacked the port infrastructure of the Mykolaiv district with Shahed drones was on August 4. A civilian vessel was also damaged in the impact.
