Companies accused Bureau of Economic Security of blocking work at the Odesa port

Ukrainian companies have reported pressure from Bureau of Economic Security employees, who have recently blocked the work of enterprises in the Odesa port.

This was reported during a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

Representatives of Prista Oil-Ukraine LLC and Attollo Granum LLC have reported pressure from employees of the Bureau of Economic Security.

According to lawyer Valerii Snitkin, Bureau of Economic Security detectives conduct searches every day under the pretext of investigating tax evasion. Despite the fact that the court rulings do not provide for the seizure of property, the Bureau is actually blocking it.

“Detectives arrive at the search site every morning, where they read out a ruling on the need to “resume investigative actions,” and in the evening of the same day, the detective reads out a “stop” of investigative actions. At the same time, the ruling of the Kyiv District Court of Odesa… mentions a search, but there is not a single word about the seizure of property, which is actually taking place,” the lawyer stated.

Director of Attollo Granum Oleksandr Pavlenko stated that the daily losses of the enterprise amount to more than 750 thousand hryvnias. More than 350 people work at the enterprises of both companies.

Law enforcement officers in private conversations note that they will “be at the facility” until January 15, although the court order is valid only until January 10.

Company leaders have appealed to the Office of the President, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Council for the Support of Entrepreneurship, but have not received any responses yet.

Earlier, USM reported that Bureau of Economic Security exposed a group of companies for not paying UAH 30 million in taxes during the transshipment of wheat.
