Vadaturskyi: Unblocking Mykolaiv ports will make grain logistics cheaper by $5/ton

Unblocking the ports of Mykolaiv will reduce logistics costs for grain and oilseed exports by at least $5/ton.

This was stated by Nibulon CEO Andriy Vadatursky at the first meeting of the Strategic Group of Advisors at the Security Architecture Forum, the company reported.

Andriy Vadatursky presented Nibulon’s position on maritime security as the foundation of Ukraine’s economic stability.

“About 90% of Ukrainian exports depend on maritime logistics, so control over sea routes is not only a matter of defense, but also a direct condition for the functioning of the economy,” he emphasized.

Vadatursky noted that the company considers the unblocking of the Mykolaiv port hub to be a key practical solution. Before the full-scale war, its cargo turnover exceeded 30 million tons per year, and the resumption of this direction will reduce logistics costs for grain and oilseed exports by at least $5/ton.

USM previously reported that Nibulon has combined its grain elevator and logistics departments into a single system.
