Defense Intelligence damaged a Russian ship in the Baltic Sea (video)

As a result of the operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, an enemy ship in the Baltic Sea was disabled.

Ukrainian scouts disabled the minesweeper of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Armed Forces “Aleksandr Obukhov”, reported the  Defense Intelligence. 

The ship was based in the city of Baltiysk and was supposed to go on combat duty. But it suffered severe damage – due to the “mysterious” appearance of a hole in the gas pipe, water got into the engine.

Now the Russian ship has undergone major repairs, which may turn out to be a serious problem, because the damaged M-503 engine is a rather scarce thing. Repair of a key installation on a ship is technically difficult and expensive.

The decommissioned enemy ship was undergoing repair work in the city of St. Petersburg very recently, in July of this year.

“Alexander Obukhov” is already the second ship of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Armed Forces to be neutralized in the last six months.

We will remind you that in April, as a result of the “Rybalka” operation of the Defense Intelligence of the MoD of Ukraine, the “Serpukhov” missile boat was disabled.
