Denmark can invest in the port infrastructure of Ukraine
The possibility of investment in ports was discussed during a meeting of the Ministry of Reconstruction team with Danish government officials and businesses.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
Deputy Minister Yurii Vaskov focused on export logistics, in particular the possibility of attracting investment in the port infrastructure of Ukraine.
According to him, it is now important to invest in ports, continue their modernization and strengthen sustainability.
“In particular, since August 2023, since the start of operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor – a temporary export route, more than 40 million tons of cargo of various nomenclature have been transshipped through the Black Sea from the deep-sea ports of Great Odesa. The ports of the Danube cluster maintain consistently high export figures,” Yurii Vaskov emphasized.
It will be recalled that Denmark and Ukraine, within the framework of the security agreement, established support for the development of the Ukrainian navy.
