Egypt again bought almost 500,000 tons of Russian agricultural products

The General Administration for the Supply of Goods to Egypt (GASC) purchased 480,000 tons of Russian wheat at a tender.
In particular, GASC bought 8 batches of wheat of 60,000 tons each from Russia, reports “APK-Inform”.
Delivery is scheduled for February 2024.
Also, on December 8, GASC purchased 420,000 tons of Russian wheat at a tender.
As previously reported by USM, 480,000 tons of wheat is 4% of Egypt’s annual imports.
