At night, explosions rang out at the ship repair plant in occupied Sevastopol. A fire broke out as a result of the missile strike.
Mikhail Razvozhaev, the “governor” of Sevastopol, told about the rocket attack on the plant.
According to him, the air defense system was working, a fire broke out at a “non-civilian object” in the South Bay area.
Later, Razvozhaev clarified that the fire broke out on the southern site of the Sevastopol Marine Plant named after Ordzhonikidze. According to preliminary information, 24 people were injured as a result of the attack. Four of them are in moderate condition. Photos and videos of the consequences of the attack were published by Russian Telegram channels.

In turn, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that the Armed Forces allegedly struck the plant with 10 cruise missiles, and also att
acked the ships of the Black Sea Fleet with three “unmanned boats”.
“Seven cruise missiles were shot down by means of anti-aircraft defense, and all unmanned boats were destroyed by the patrol ship “VasiliiBykov”. As a result of being hit by the enemy’s cruise missiles, two ships that are undergoing repairs were damaged,” the department claims.
The Sevastopol Shipyard is the largest ship repair and construction enterprise in the occupied Crimea.
Later, the Defense Intelligence confirmed the destruction of ships in Sevastopol. The information in the hromadske comment was confirmed by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov. According to him, a large landing ship and a submarine of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation were damaged in Sevastopol.
According to preliminary data, the diesel-electric submarine “Rostov-on-Don” and the large landing ship “Minsk” were damaged.
