Exports of ore through the ports of Ukraine decreased by 15%

The seaports of Ukraine in November reduced the export transshipment of ore by 15.1% compared to November 2020 – to 3.2 million tons.
In January-November, the export transshipment of ore decreased by 14.9% compared to the same period last year – to 26.7 million tons, GMK Center writes citing the USPA data.
Transshipment of ferrous metals for 11 months rose by 1.3% – to 13.9 million tons and in November amounted to 1.3 million tons (+ 14.8% growth).
In January-November, the ore was exported by:
- the port of Pivdennyi – 24.04 million tons (-16.8% compared to January-November 2020);
- Izmail port – 2.3 million tons (+ 11.3%);
- Odesa port – 150.3 thousand tons (+ 11.7%);
- the port of Chornomorsk – 218.5 thousand tons (-26.8%).
In total, in January-November, the seaports of Ukraine handled 105.7 million tons of cargo for export. This is 6% less than the same period in 2020.
