Female “activist” from Odesa helped evaders to escape abroad under the guise of sailors

The Security Service of Ukraine has eliminated a scheme for evaders to escape abroad under the guise of sailors of foreign ships.

The head of the local public association of sailors is involved in the criminal scheme. She offered conscripts to secretly leave Ukraine, under the guise of “working on foreign ships.” This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that the cost of the attacker’s “services” was from 7 to 8 thousand dollars per person. The amount depended on the circumstances and urgency of the “foreign voyage”. Customers received a ready-made package of fake documents from a courier.

However, the SBU employees promptly exposed the criminal mechanism and documented the receipt of almost 8,000 dollars by the participants for producing a “white note”.

Currently, criminal proceedings have been opened on the facts of bribery of an official and illegal transportation of persons across the state border. The issue of notifying the parties involved in the case of suspicion and choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.

We will remind you that a year ago in Odesa, a rally was held in front of the “Morrichservice” building. Several dozen people demanded from the NGO Ukrainian Seafarers Union to return their money for processing sea documents.
