Global Ocean Link confirmed compliance with ISO 9001 and GDP standards

Global Ocean Link has passed an audit according to the ISO 9001 standard, which defines the requirements for a quality management system.

As the company told USM, passing the audit is an important stage in confirming the reliability of processes, transparency in interaction with partners and customers, as well as effective management of internal resources.

An ISO 9001 audit involves an independent assessment of how the company’s quality management processes work. In particular, operational procedures, distribution of responsibility, error control, risk management, customer feedback, identification of non-conformities and mechanisms for continuous improvement are checked.

Global Ocean Link emphasizes that ISO 9001 does not apply to a single product or service, but to the entire quality management system. Therefore, successfully passing the audit confirms that the company’s business processes are described, implemented, controlled and improved.

The company also confirmed compliance with the GDP – Good Distribution Practice standard. This is an international standard of good distribution practice that regulates the requirements for the storage, transportation and distribution of medicines.

The company notes that confirmation of GDP compliance is important for work in the direction of transporting pharmaceutical cargoes that require compliance with special requirements for logistics and quality control.

Previously, the trademark of the GOL logistics group was estimated at UAH 54.8 million.
