It is now possible to sign up for a queue to receive seafarer’s documents online
The Shipping Administration has implemented an electronic queue for obtaining seafarers’ qualification documents.
Seafarers can sign up for a queue to receive qualification documents from a smartphone. The new electronic queue works on the principle of “one person – one day – one service”. Access to the service will be provided by the name specified during registration, the press service of the Shipping Administration reported.
In order to sign up for the electronic queue, you need to take 4 steps:
1. Select the “E-queue” service on the main page of the website of the Shipping Administration or via the link .
2. Log in using a mobile phone or via Telegram-bot.
3. Select the required service, date and time. Receive an SMS message with a confirmation code and coupon number. Within 10 minutes, the confirmation code must be entered on the site – only in this way will the registration be completely completed (registration via Telegram-bot works without confirmation).
4. Get a special coupon.
Currently, online registration is possible one week in advance. Over time, the number of days for registration in the queue will increase.
You can also sign up for a queue to receive seaman’s documents through a special terminal in the Odesa office. The terminal can also be used to pay for services.
A complete list of services for which you can sign up online or through the terminal (for the city of Odesa) is available at the link .
It is worth noting that registration in the queue is free. The number of places for registration is calculated based on the actual number of employees of the unit involved in the process of filing documents, the length of the working day and the estimated time required to provide one service.
Registration is individual, and it is forbidden to transfer your ticket to third parties. If a person does not show up within 2 minutes of being invited to the place of service, their number in the queue will be automatically cancelled.
