Moldovan Railways does not agree to the transfer of grain through Kuchurhan – UZ changes the route

The State Enterprise “Moldovan Railways” currently does not approve the transfer of grain cargo through this border crossing, so Ukrzaliznytsia is redirecting them to other junctions.

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” is redirecting grain cargo that was supposed to be transferred to Moldova through the Kuchurgan-Novosavitska border crossing to other junctions. Rail.insider writes about this with reference to the company’s information.

Ukrzaliznytsia explained the decision by saying that the State Enterprise “Moldovan Railways” currently does not approve the transfer of grain cargo through this crossing. Because of this, UZ is redirecting the relevant cargo to other border crossings with the country. As a result of this decision, the transportation fee will be adjusted.
