MSC vessel damaged in ballistic attack in Odesa port

As a result of the Russian ballistic attack on the port of Odesa, two merchant ships with civilian cargo were damaged.
This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territiries of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
The Russians hit the port of Odesa with a ballistic missile on Saturday, March 1. Two civilian workers were injured as a result of the attack.
As a result of the attack, two civilian ships were damaged:
• Super Sarkas under the flag of Sierra Leone. It was transporting more than 21 thousand tons of corn and soybeans for export.
• MSC Levante F container ship under the Panamanian flag, owned by a leading European company.
These are ships with completely civilian cargo, Oleksiy Kuleba noted. Other port infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
In total, 29 ships have already been damaged as a result of the Russian attacks.
Recall, previously, only one ship was known to have been damaged as a result of the Russian attack on March 1.
