New equipment was handed over to the rescuers in Odesa port
The stevedoring companies purchased new protective equipment, which the rescuers of the Odesa seaport have already received.
Such a decision was made as a result of the increase in the number of missile and drone attacks on port infrastructure facilities, reports the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
The rescuers of the port were bought sets of high-quality protective clothing, helmets and special HARVIK firefighting boots, as well as radios, group lights and a compressor for filling compressed air for firefighters’ breathing apparatus.
“The equipment will significantly strengthen the protection of port lifeguards during the performance of their official duties, improve the efficiency of actions to eliminate fires and accidents in the entire territory of the Odesa seaport,” the representatives of the port noted.
As previously reported by USM, in December USPA branches were protected in case of blackouts.
