“Nibulon” suspended the mill construction project in the port of Izmail

The general director of the company Nibulon” said that the company suspended the mill construction project at its Bessarabskabranch because of war risks.

The CEO of the company, Andrii Vadaturskyi, announced this during the Business Breakfast with Volodymyr Fedorin.

“About the mill. We understood the prospects for the Black Sea, that it is impossible to negotiate with Russia and that Russia will do everything to prevent the large ports from working. Frankly, I was surprised that the grain corridor was at all working. Of course, I did not think that the Russians would dare to bomb even the Danube ports,” Andrii Vadaturskyi said.

According to him, after the attacks on critical infrastructure inside Ukraine began, the company realized that building a mill since the war was a wrong decision.

“I am not ready morally and financially to make investments in construction in such difficult times and then have a flight,” the company’s general director emphasized.

As previously reported by USM, “Nibulon” planned to build a new elevator and mill at its “Bessarabska” branch, which is located in the Izmail Port
