Nibulon told how equipment from USAID helps to increase transshipment
The Nibulon company reported how two mechanical grain samplers from USAID helped increase the speed of processing at the “Bessarabska” branch.
As the company said , they received the equipment that provides grain and oil samples from open vehicles in August 2023.
“Additional samplers allow us to process 350 cars per day, which is 50% more than before, to conduct laboratory tests faster and ship agricultural products for export,” noted Zakhar Medvedev, director of the “Bessarabska” branch.
In total, during the year of work, two samplers from USAID carried out incoming control to determine the quality of grain for about 43,450 cars. The company says that this is equivalent to 1.1 million tons of grain.
“This is 90% of the total volume of grain that the company exported through the Bessarabska branch in the 2023-2024 marketing year,” Nibulon said.
USM previously reported that Nibulon sent grain to Egypt for the first time this season.
