“Nibulon” transported about 80,000 tons of grain to Constanta with its own fleet
Since the beginning of the year, “Nibulon” has transported about 80,000 tons of grain from the “Bessarabska” branch in Izmail to the Romanian Constanta with its own fleet.
This volume was 15% of the total volume of the company’s transportation. As the company said , this became possible thanks to the unique procedure of redeploying the fleet from Mykolaiv, which involved disassembling the vessels, transporting them overland to the Danube and their subsequent assembly at the Bessarabska branch.
“In this way, it was possible to transport 2 port tugs “NIBULON-12” and “NIBULON-14”, tugboats “NIBULON-3” and “NIBULON-11″ and two TEREX FUCHS MHL 385 loading and unloading machines,” Nibulon noted “.
The company also said that such services as towing, mooring and unmooring of vessels on the Danube began in the spring.
“The demand is there. From January to June 2023, the number of hours worked in this way increased 18 times,” Nibulon reported.
Also, during April-May 2023, the company transported more than 15,000 tons of grain across the Dnipro.
Currently, Nibulon plans to increase the volume of services provided to third-party organizations in Izmail, as well as to increase the volume of transportation to Constanta by optimizing routes.
