The issue of resuming yachting activity in the Odesa region has been submitted for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

“As a person, I would like this time to come as soon as possible… We held active talks with the Navy and raised this issue among all categories of the military. But it was decided that this issue should be considered by the National Security and Defense Council, and this procedure is currently in the process of being agreed,” commented the deputy head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Kropyva.

According to him, it is currently difficult to talk about specific terms of restoration, but the Regional Military Administration has already submitted a package of documents to the Office of the President and the National Security and Defense Council in order to have a clear vision of further steps.

Kropyva also recalled that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, business appealed to the authorities with opposite requests – to help with the evacuation of yachts outside Ukraine. For now, he said, it is important to have an algorithm of actions to return this industry to work, taking into account security risks.
