Over 60 dead cetaceans found on the coast of Odesa region

Within 40 days, 67 bodies of dead cetaceans were found in the Odesa region, which died due to the actions of the Russian Federation.
According to UAnimals, since May, the bodies of dead cetaceans have been washed ashore. Dolphins, porpoises (Azovki) and many other species suffer from oil spills, mines and shelling. In particular, mammals can die due to disorientation due to ship sonar.
According to ecologist Ivan Rusev, in reality, the number of dead cetaceans is much higher, since bodies often end up on the seabed. Corpses were also found on the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania.
“Not only people, but also animals are victims of Russia’s colonial war. For it, destruction is a way of control and achieving power, and no life is valuable for a terrorist country,” the charity noted.
Let us remind you that last year two large dead mammals were found on a sandbank within the Tuzly Estuaries National Park.
