Russia launched over a hundred Kalibr and Kh-101 missiles at Ukraine


The Russian invaders carried out a massive combined strike on Ukrainian energy sector facilities with missiles of various types.

On the night of November 17, the Russians attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types of air, ground and sea-based, as well as Shahed-type strike UAVs, the Air Force reported.

In total, according to preliminary data, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected and tracked 210 enemy air targets – 120 missiles and 90 UAVs.

Among them – 101 Kh-101 cruise missiles, “Kalibr”, as well as one hypersonic ship-based missile 3M22 “Tsyrkon”.

In particular, Russia involved four cruise missile carriers in the air attack.

According to preliminary data, as of 12:00 there is information about the shooting down of 144 air targets – 102 missiles and 42 UAVs. Of these, 85 are Kh-101 and Caliber cruise missiles, and one is Zircon.

The other day, Captain 1st Rank Reserve and former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Navy Andriy Ryzhenko stated that Russian troops can simultaneously launch up to 90 Caliber cruise missiles from ships into Ukraine. These missiles are launched from ships in the Black Sea and the Caspian Flotilla.

As for the Black Sea, submarines are the carriers of missiles there. Their presence in the water area is safe, and they launch missiles from a depth of 50 meters.

Earlier, USM reported that the SBU confirmed the liquidation of the CO of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Valerii Trankovsky. The war criminal gave orders to launch cruise missiles from the Black Sea into Ukraine. In particular, the occupier is involved in the shelling of Vinnytsia in July 2022 – then dozens of people died. In addition, the Russian is involved in the shelling of Odesa and other cities, which also resulted in the deaths of civilians.
