Russia wants to create its own “grain agreement”
Russian federation plans to conclude its own agreement with Iran and Turkey, an alternative to the Grain Initiative.
The State Duma of russian federation talked about the creation of a “Persian hub” – a new transport hub in one of the Iranian ports, which will be used mainly for the supply of wheat and other grains from russia. The terrorist country hopes to include Turkey in the agreement. Details of this project have not yet been announced, wrires the Eastern Herald.
The costs of russian exporters of agricultural products within the framework of the “grain agreement” have seriously increased. The one-time money transfer fee now reaches 7% of the payment amount due to “currency risks”.
It will be recalled that since mid-September, russia and Iran began operating their own trade corridor. The route runs through the occupied Mariupol and the Caspian Sea to Iran with access to the Persian Gulf.
Currently, the “Corridor of Dictators” is primarily used for transporting weapons, including Iranian drones. However, now russia is trying to adapt new logistical ways to sell oil. The russians also plan to increase the volume of grain shipments to the Persian Gulf countries. In this way, russian federation wants to compensate for the losses due to the break in commercial ties with the EU.
