Russia will send two new nuclear submarines to the Pacific Ocean
In Russia, a naval flag-raising ceremony was held on two of the newest nuclear-powered submarine cruisers.
In Severodvinsk, at the Sevmash plant, the flags were raised on two new Russian nuclear submarines – Emperor Alexander III and Krasnoyarsk, reports rosZMI with reference to the Kremlin.
“Emperor Alexander III” is the seventh ship in the series of Borei-class strategic missile carriers. Cruiser “Krasnoyarsk” is the fourth ship in a series of multi-purpose nuclear boats.
According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, submarine missile carriers will soon begin serving as part of the Pacific Fleet.
In the coming years, the terrorist country plans to launch three more strategic missile carriers of the Borey-A class. Putin announced this at the flag-raising ceremony.
USM previously reported that the Russians are preparing their fleet for war against NATO. The Russian Federation is directing valuable naval resources to areas outside Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Thus, the aggressor country can create threats to the alliance and allies in many regions, according to the Institute for the Study of War.
