Russian ships with stolen grain cannot pass through the Bosphorus

At least two Russian bulkers with stolen Ukrainian grain cannot pass through the Bosphorus Strait.

The Grumant bulk carrier has been at the Bosphorus for 3 days and is changing berths. The day before, on February 28, 20,000 tons of stolen grain were loaded onto a ship in Sevastopol, reports the “Crimean Wind” monitoring group.

Another Russian bulk carrier — Zafar — has been near the Bosphorus for 2 days. On February 25, this vessel was taken out of the port of Sevastopol by two tugboats after loading 35,800 tons of grain.

A little earlier, the Russian ships “Yaz” and “Sparta IV” could not pass through the strait. They were transporting weapons and ammunition from the Syrian port of Tartus. However, on the evening of February 26, the Russian ships had to move in the opposite direction. As of March 2, Yaz is in Tartus, where “Sparta IV” is unknown.

It will be recalled that a month ago, Turkey promised to apply sanctions against Russian vessels heading from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
