Slovakia does not plan to lift the ban on grain imports from Ukraine


The Prime Minister of Slovakia stated that he is not ready to lift the ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico made his first trip outside Bratislava since surviving an assassination attempt, Sky News reports.

Fico together with the Minister of Agriculture Richard Takacs visited a farm in the village of Slovenska Nova Ves to check the grain harvest.

During the visit, Fico stated that Slovakia is not ready to lift the ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

Earlier, USM reported that Moldova may resume licensing of grain imports from Ukraine.
