State Property Fund will announce an auction for the privatization of the Bilhorod-Dnister port in July

The state property fund will once again put the Bilhorod-Dnister port up for privatization already this month.

The port will be prepared for privatization, which is planned to be announced already in July, said the head of the State Property Fund Vitalii Koval.

According to him, privatization of the port is the way to its modernization, economic development of the region and creation of new jobs.

Currently, the main facilities and equipment of the port are in working condition. All port staff managed to save.

We will remind you that during the Grain Ukraine 2024 conference, the head of the State Property Fund promised that the Bilhorod-Dnister port will be privatized.

Vitalii Koval noted that the Fund wants to maximize the price of the object thanks to ship calls. However, ship calls to the port depend not only on the State Property Fund, but also on security factors, which are currently being worked on.

Earlier, USM reported that the head of the State Property Fund visited the nationalized Mykolaiv Alumina Plant. Previously, the plant belonged to the sanctioned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
