Danube ports

The project of the USAID Agency “Economic Support of Ukraine” will support export infrastructure development projects of Ukraine.

Ukraine needs an alternative agricultural export route that will not depend on the Grain Agreement.

The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure plans to increase the throughput capacity of Ukrainian ports on the Danube to 30 million tons per year.

Since the beginning of last year, about 97 million dollars of investments have been attracted to the Danube cluster.

In May, the ports of the Danube region processed more than 3 million tons of cargo. This is an absolute record for the ports of this region.

The lion’s share of Ukrainian agricultural products is exported through the “grain corridor”.

The UDS shared plans for the development of the Danube region and the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. In particular, the company seeks to return to work its marine fleet.
