The monitoring group recorded the movement of Russian military vessels transporting equipment from bases in Syria back to Russia.

Russian warships can no longer enter the Syrian port, so the equipment is loaded only on two sanctioned transport vessels.

Previously, the Russian ship had been idle off the Syrian coast for several weeks without permission to enter.

Syria has been preventing Russian transport ships from evacuating Russian military equipment from the port of Tartus for almost a week.
