The Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club Association appealed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyi.

UCAB expressed concern about the intentions of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” to effectively completely restrict access of private railcar fleet to 1435 mm bogies from October 1.

In August, the volume of exports of the main groups of agricultural products from Ukraine amounted to about 2.15 million tons – this is 41.5% less than in July (3.67 million tons).

In August-October, Ukraine may not deliver about 9 million tons of agricultural products to foreign markets due to the reduction in available export capacities.

The Ukrainian Association expressed its disagreement with the intentions of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” to increase freight rates.

Ukrainian agrarian associations have called for a balanced consideration of the case in connection with the criminal proceedings against Taras Vysotskyi.

The Ukrainian Agricultural and Food Association believes that agricultural exports to African countries could strengthen Ukraine’s position and relieve the European market.

According to the results of 2025, Ukraine exported agricultural products worth $22.53 billion, which is 8.8% or $2.15 billion less than the previous year.
