The Cabinet of Ministers simplified the licensing of sunflower exports to Bulgaria
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has simplified the licensing conditions for the export of sunflower seeds to Bulgaria.
On February 2, the Government established an automatic licensing regime instead of a non-automatic one, the Ministry of Economy reported.
The trade representative of Ukraine, Taras Kachka, explained that the Cabinet of Ministers conducts constant consultations with EU countries, with which export licensing of certain types of Ukrainian agricultural products has been introduced.
Bulgaria recently agreed to liberalize the licensing regime for the export of sunflower seeds. From now on, obtaining licenses for the export of sunflowers to Bulgaria will not require the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture and, accordingly, separate consultations with this country. This should make exporting easier.
Previously, in order to unblock the export of agricultural products, the Government introduced verification and approval of the export of certain agricultural products to Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. In particular, the licensing regime for the export of such goods as wheat, corn, rape and sunflower to the specified five EU countries was introduced.
Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine exported more than 20 million tons of cargo from the ports of Great Odesa through the maritimecorridor.
As previously reported by USM, losses from Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports reach UAH 1 billion.
