The first seaman confirms the qualification according to the new procedure

A Ukrainian seaman receives a qualification document in accordance with the innovations, that is, according to a simplified procedure.
On Wednesday, February 15, the first seafarer applied to the Shipping Administration to obtain a qualification document under the new procedure.
The Administration said that he submitted an application for confirmation of qualification based on seniority and is waiting for the decision of the State Qualification Commission for Seafarers on issuing him a document.
Currently, it is possible to submit an application in paper form to AS (Kyiv, 14 Peremogy Ave., first floor) or State Enterprise “Morrichservice” (Kyiv, 23 Preobrazhenska St.).
Soon they promise to open the reception of applications in Odesa and Izmail, and after technical integration they expect that this option will become possible in electronic form – through the Diya portal.
As USM previously wrote, on February 14, the State Qualification Commission for Seafarers under the Shipping Administration started its work , completely updated both in terms of composition and functionality.
