The government has appointed deputy ministers of communities and territories development

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed two Deputy Ministers forCommunities and Territories Development.

This was announced by the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

Thus, Alena Shkrum was appointed First Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine. Kostyantyn Kovalchuk was also appointed Deputy Minister of Development.

Alena Shkrum is a former People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the VIII and IX convocations from the Batkivshchyna party, was a member of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy. She resigned on Tuesday, December 3.

Kostyantyn Kovalchuk previously worked at Ukrtransgaz. His wife, Dzhannet Atayeva, held a position in the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Earlier, USM reported that the government had cut spending on agriculture for the sake of “Zelensky’s thousand.”
