The head of “Allseeds” proposed to increase tariffs for USPA berths by 5-10 times
The head of Allseeds Group, Vyacheslav Petryshche, proposed to increase the tariffs for using USPA berths by 5-10 times.
The chairman of Allseeds Group responded on Facebook to the proposal of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, to increase taxes.
According to him, the cost of using USPA berths was reduced to 56 cents per ton of transshipment about 10 years ago. These rates can and should be raised 5-10 times, and this is hundreds of millions or even billions of hryvnias to the budget, Petryshche noted.
He also added that the various dredging works that were carried out by USPA in the ports of Great Odesa specifically for specific port operators should be paid for by the same port operator in the form of a 100% rate of port/channel fees, not 50/50.
Petryshche called the increase in taxes a logical idea, if it does not lead to the shadowing of “white” business.
USM previously reported that new government initiatives could block grain exports.
