The Maritime Administration is looking for new captains for six ports
Today the State Service of Maritime and River Transport announced a competition for the positions of captains of six Ukrainian ports.
Thus, the MaritimeAdministration is looking for new captains for the ports of Odessa, Izmail, Mariupol, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Olvia, as well as the port of Pivdennyi.
Among the qualification requirements for candidates – higher education in the field of “ship ownership” and a diploma of conferring the rank of master mariner.
Reference: The specialty “Ship Ownership” provides competence in navigation, handling and stowage of cargo, management of ship operations and taking care of people on board, organization and implementation of radio communications, etc.
Work experience in civil service positions of categories “B” or “C” / in local self-government bodies / in senior positions of enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership – at least two years.
The total sailing experience as a captain of a vessel is more than 500 register tons – not less than 24 months.
In addition to searching for port captains, the service also announced a competition for the vacancy of the Head of the Black Sea Interregional Department.
