The oil terminal in Mykolaiv caught fire after a drone attack

Kamikaze drones hit tanks with sunflower oil located at the terminal in the Factory District of Mykolaiv.

The russians attacked Mykolaiv Region with kamikaze drones on Sunday, October 16, in the evening. According to the mayor of the city Oleksandr Senkevych, three drones hit an object of industrial infrastructure, as a result of which tanks with sunflower oil ignited.

“For the second time, russian nazis targeted the oil containers of one of the leading sunflower oil exporters of Ukraine. It was through this terminal in the city of Mykolaiv that 17% of the world’s exports of these products passed. Last time, the enterprise was attacked by a cruise missile,” added Dmytro Pletenchuk, the press officer of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration.
