The port of Chornomorsk is looking for tugs for icebreaking operations

The Chornomorsk Port Authority announced a tender for icebreaking operations on the approach channel and in the port water area during the ice campaign.
According to Prozorro, the Port Authority is purchasing the services of two tugs for icebreaking operations on the approach channel and in the water area of the Sukhoi estuary of the seaport of Chornomorsk.
Tugs must have a power of at least 1.5 thousand hp and 4 thousand hp of ice class Ice2 or higher. During the ice campaign, tugs will have to be deployed in the water area of the Sukhoi Estuary.
The expected cost of the work is UAH 6 million (USD 227.7 thousand). The contractor selection auction is scheduled for December 28th, 2021. Participants’ proposals are accepted til November 22nd.
As USM previously reported, the Chornomorsk Port Authority announced a tender for the repair of berths №17 and №18.
